Street Performers & Vendors

Throughout the V&A Waterfront and St Georges Mall (location), where this photo was taken, which is a pedestrian mall filled with shops and street vendors, street performers can be found. Generally, there are three different types, people painted and acting like statues, musicians (one group had five xylophonists) and groups of people doing traditional African dance and singing acappella.




Here are some photos from Greenmarket Square (location) which has a large number of street vendors in one convenient location. These guys sell all sorts of products and they are generally cheaper than the tourist stores at the waterfront.
